This was another challenging job but we ended up with a great result.
It was an installation of 4 roller doors at a large farm near Oswestry where a farm building was being converted into a more domestic garage.
Following the primary survey (see photo left) it was decided to plant large timbers onto the steel stanchions and the doors were fitted behind these.
The doors are Aluroll Irish Oak foil laminated roller doors with black box and guides. The timbers have been clad in black ash woodgrain UPVC
A gulley was created in the concrete to overcome a threshold that was not level. This then ensured a better weather seal on the bottom of the door.
To fix the box enclosures a timber fascia was built in front and this was also overclad in black ash woodgrain UPVC.
This fascia will help to prevent any potential wind rattle when strong winds off the Shropshire plane hit the doors.
