Last week we fitted the third door in 2 months for AICO the fire, smoke and CO2 detector manufacturer at their distribution centre in Oswestry, Shropshire.
The insulated steel roller shutter i95, is made from attractive and sturdy 95mm by approximately 22mm thick lath. The powerful 3 phase motor ensures very high usage of the door.
The second door Arridge Garage Doors installed was on a mezzanine floor where AICO store all their old documents and the third and latest one is a very large version of the same fitted on the main product picking area of the warehouse.
We fitted this insulated steel roller shutter i95 on AICO Cetre of Excellence in Oswestry.The first one we fitted on their Centre of Excellence came as a recommendation from a local architect Whitmore and Humphreys. The picture shows AICO’s training centre in Oswestry where distributors, installers and staff train at their purpose built centre of excellence.
The roller shutter door had to be fitted on a Saturday because of the very high usage of the door/working area during the week. We are so accommodating to our customers!
The i95 is the big boy of the roller shutters. Extra secure, little deflection in high wind or on wide doors, and available in numerous colours. Single phase and three phase motors available. Key switch operation of the shutter means staff cannot accidently wonder off with the hand transmitters.
Hopefully we will be installing a high speed version of the i95 shutter on AICO’s packaging area next, controlled by proximity sensors on the forklift trucks. If proximity sensors were attached to the staff popping out for a smoke the doors would never be closed! Good job they have got tens of thousands of smoke detectors on standby.
