How this website collects your personal data?

How is data transmitted?

All data passed between your computer and the server this website is hosted on is transmitted over SSL using 2048-bit encryption. This includes page views, contact forms submissions and any data 3rd parties collect (such as statistical data).

What are ‘cookies’?

‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual.

How do third party services use your data?

We pass your data to a variety of services to monitor our website usage. You have the right to opt-in (or out) of sending your data to these services that use cookies to manage your data.

Third party services we use that use cookies to manage your data:

Google Analytics

We use Google analytics to monitor our website traffic and activity as this gives us an insight on how people are using our website. We only send anonymous user data to Google Analytics and your personal data is not collected.

We also use a service from Google Analytics called Google Optimise to perform A/B testing on our website. A/B testing (sometimes called split testing) is comparing two versions of a web page to see which one performs better. We do this by showing the two variants, e.g. A and B to similar visitors at the same time, and the one that converts better, wins. When you visit a section on the website that is currently being split tested, you may be redirected (if you've been selected to view a variant web page) randomly and will continue to view this version of the web page until the split test has ended. Your personal data is not collected and the split test groups visitors randomly to either view the original page, or the variant page(s). Find out more about Google Optimise - https://www.google.com/analytics/optimize/

What happens if I don’t allow these cookies?

By not allowing these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, we will not be able to monitor its performance, and you will not participate in our split tests.
