Lead time varies from one manufacturer to another, and also depends on the door type, size and colour. Standard size doors in White have shorter delivery times (approx 2 weeks) than a made to measure sectional door in a special RAL colour (3-8 weeks) or solid cedar wood door (3 -8 weeks) for example. The only made to measure door that can be manufactured quickly is an Aluroll insulated roller door in a choice of standard colours (approx 2 weeks).
There are 155 standard sizes for up and over garage doors, but less for sectional and side-hinged! All roller doors are made to measure and any door we sell can be made to measure if a standard size door cannot be selected to fit your sizes. In order to answer your “how much?” question accurately please send us your sizes and indicate to us the type of garage door you require prices on (e.g.) steel up and over garage doors, side-hinged steel, side-hinged timber, sectional doors or roller garage doors. *All Hormann and Garador doors and Aluroll or Gliderol roller doors can be delivered to most mainland addresses. We don’t deliver as a matter of course North of Inverness, to Argyll or other peninsulas and islands. Most of our trade and retail customers in Scotland simply state their chosen make, model and size of door(s) (we can help and advise with your choice) and the address to which the door(s) has to be delivered and we will advise and quote accurately and as competitively as possible on the delivery cost.
We don’t, but we regularly deliver to freight forwarding, courier and shipping depos in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness etc. Customers then arrange onward freight to their chosen address. We mark up the paperwork and packaging indicating the final destination address.
No. We deliver on dedicated garage door delivery vehicles. Most deliveries are made by 7,5 tonne rigid box lorries (approx. the size of a bin lorry or a concrete mixer). Few manufacturers deliver on 40ft articulated lorries. Please let us know if there are any site access or offload restrictions prior to ordering.
We can only deliver Hormann doors to Newry for collection from there by the customer. We can arrange export packaging and special delivery at additional cost on other makes.

Any of the doors we sell can be manual or automatic. Up and over garage doors and sectional garage doors are automated by adding an automation kit to your chosen door. Hormann Rollmatic and Aluroll roller doors come with automation and hand transmitters included in the price of the door. Side-hinged doors can also be automated in certain circumstances.
Yes we do. All the doors we sell, if not suitable in one of the many standard sizes, can be purpose made to suit your sizes. Low cost factory width and height cuts on sectional garage doors enable doors to be made to measure at low cost. All our roller doors are made to measure as a matter of course at no extra cost.
Delivery cost of single doors to most UK addresses is approximately £35 + VAT. Double doors and also all Cedardoor timber doors cost more to deliver. When selecting your door under “Products” (top left of menu next to “Home” button) a specific delivery charge will be stated for your door type, size and the county of delivery.

Sorry, no. We do however have small sections of doors showing thickness, finish texture etc. On request we can post out swatch samples of your chosen door finish and colour. We can also post out hard copy manufacturers colour brochures or a PDF brochure if you prefer. All manufacturers brochures are downloadable in PDF from our website under “How to Guides” “Online Brochures”.
As an online discounter covering the whole of the country we cannot afford to offer “free surveys”. Once a customer has chosen a door (we can help and advise with your choice) and if a customer requires installation of the door we do carry out a double check survey once a firm order and a non-refundable £100 deposit has been paid. On all supply only orders we work on the sizes provided by the customer and we do not carry out a survey. This helps us keep the prices down. Simply send us your sizes and questions and we can advise and quote accurately on a supply only basis with installation if required, itemised as a separate cost.
