This section of our website itemises the many different types of hand transmitters available for Hormann operators, including the BiSecur transmitters, which were launched in 2012. When fitting an electric garage door to a garage with no other means of access, it is essential to install an emergengy release. This is neat and lockable and is fitted via the garage door handle or as a seperate, neat, chrome metal plate near the top centre of the door. A metal cable fits to the motor override inside the garage and, in the event of a power cut, you simply unlock and remove the lock barrel, pull on the cable and then lift the door manually. Page 1 shows radio finger scanners for door activation by means of finger print recognition and keyless entry pads, a convenient way of opening your electric garage door when you have not got the hand transmitter close at hand.
