Richard worked for many years as an engineer / installer for Gliderol Garage Doors of Peterlee, County Durham. He travelled all over the country installing and commissioning their specific type of roller door for commercial and domestic customers. He was also responsible for training new fitters.

In 2008, he became self-employed and has fitted numerous garage doors for our customers in the North East. Based in Durham, Richard and his son pride themselves in doing quality garage door fitting. They have attended specialist installer courses with new manufacturers, such as Alutech, specifically to train in that product. They are proud of the quality work and fair prices for the service they offer.

The Horman Sectional door still remains popular in the North East but we now offer high quality, lower cost alternatives such as the Wisniowski, SWS, and Cartech/Teckentrup sectional doors. Thse manufacturers offer the benefits of free made to measure, low headroom,sidesprung doors (including doubles) and a very wide range of low cost colour options and matching frames. All come with a 10 year door and a 5 year motor warranty. Richard can install any of these for you, commision it well and remove and dispose of the old door where applicable.
