Up and over metal garage doors are manufactured from galvanized and powder coated steel. The powder coating process involves spraying the doors with fine powder which adheres to the door. This is then baked on at a high temperature in a kiln to melt the paint powder onto the door, giving it a durable satin paint finish. Plastisol coated and foil laminated metal garage doors are also available.
