Cedar Door Wessington Timber Side-Hinged garage doors
The Cedar Door Wessington timber side-hinged garage doors are manufactured from solid cedar tongue and groove V jointed planking set within a solid cedar perimeter frame. The Gothic / Tudor peak gives a distinct appearance which is ideal for period properties.
This traditional side opening garage door is manufactured in the highest quality Western Red Cedar boards, which are glue-bonded into a solid cedar frame.
The frame is traditionally constructed with solid cedar stiles and rails.
All joints are morticed and tenoned, glued and wedged.
Where the two door leaves meet in the centre, the door leaves are re-bated to give weatherproof centre joint.
These cedar garage doors come with a choice of hardware door furniture packs. There are three hardware packs available supplied free of charge with any Cedar side hinged garage door: Cedar Door Modern Hardware Pack, Cedar Door Antique Hardware Pack, Cedar Door Traditional Hardware Pack. Cedar side hinged doors are dip-coated in Light Oak basecoat, as standard.
It is strongly recommended by the manufacturer to apply top coating immediately after installation on all surfaces.
Available factory fully finished in a choice of 8 standard colours, at extra cost. Doors also available painted in a Remmers woodstain, RAL or BS colour of your choice, or fully finished in Ebony, at extra cost. Please ring 01691 670394 for details.

Cedar Door Wessington Traditional Boarded Side Hinged Door Sizes.
All cedar side hinged garage doors are made to measure in width and height.
The ORDERING SIZE is the exact internal frame size of this goalpost frame. Do not allow a fitting tolerance as the factory will do this.
If you are ordering a timber frame with your door simply state your exact brickwork opening sizes and we will do the rest.
We supply 90mm x 70mm goalpost fixing frames that come with loose rebate strips for fixing onto the frame after the doors have been fitted. They reduce weather and draught coming through the gap between the door and the frame.

Supplied FREE OF CHARGE with Cedar Door side-hinged only. Pack includes: 2 pairs of galvanised 18" black antique tee hinges 1 Yale lock with finger pull 1 top bow handle bolt 1 foot bolt 1 pair of garage door stays All complete with fixing screws and bolts.

Supplied FREE OF CHARGE with Cedar Door side-hinged only. Pack includes: 2 pairs of galvanised 24" heavy-duty hooks and bands 1 Yale lock with finger pull 1 top bow handle bolt 1 foot bolt 1 pair of garage door stays All complete with fixing screws and bolts.

This lead time varies throughout the year. The quieter months of Jan-Feb it tends to be approx. 4 weeks. The summer months, autumn and leading upto Christmas it can stretch to approx. 8 weeks.
At the point of delivery an able-bodied male must be present to assist the driver in offloading the door.
