Hormann Gatcombe 2020 Cedarwood up and over garage door
The Hormann Gatcombe timber up & over garage door is manufactured from top quality, solid cedar, tongue & grooved planking.
The vertical planking is set within a solid cedar perimeter frame, with a double stile down the centre of the panel and a Tudor peak top rail. This design has the appearance of a pair of traditional side-hinged doors, which particularly suits period properties.
The timber panel is fixed onto a neat, strong and very stable, dark brown, powdercoated, steel chassis.
Dip-coated in basecoat, as standard, with option to have the door fully finished in various shades of woodstain, at nominal extra cost.
The door comes with pre-installed canopy or retractable counterbalance lifting gear, lock & keys.
Can come with no handle / lock-hole, on request, if door to be made electric.

Please note that a neat, but visible, brown, powdercoated, metal edge to the door panel is visible. Cedar Door and Woodrite doors do not have this feature.

Warranty Period
On Hormann timber doors a warranty of 2 years is granted on the door panels alone under the terms and conditions specified herein.
The timber door mechanism and steel frame (if applicable) is covered by the 10 year warranty period.
The warranty period for replacement parts is 6 months, however, at least the current warranty period.
The purchaser is given a 5-year guarantee from the date of purchase on the springs, wire cables, track rollers, hinges and guide rollers of garage doors in normal use, whereby normal use constitutes no more than 5 door operations (open/close) per day.
Important please note:
After delivery doors must be stored upright, under cover, with wrapping intact, until wrapping is removed.
As soon as the door is unwrapped, one coat of a good quality basecoat primer must be applied to both sides of the door.
Immediately after installation, your timber doors require a further two coats of a good quality exterior wood finish on both sides.
Initial application and periodic treatment should be carried out strictly in accordance with the wood stain manufacturer's instructions.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in early deterioration of the timber panel.
Estimated lead time on Hormann Timber Up & Over garage doors
2-3 weeks for standard ex stock doors with handles in basecoat only. Limited sizes and models only.
6-7 weeks for fully finished doors and non stock doors
At the point of delivery an able-bodied male must be present to assist the driver in offloading the door.
